The Hollywood Riviera was built in 1954 by Award Winning Architect Edward Fickett.
A visionary, Fickett was known as the “The Frank Loyd Wright of the 50’s” and "Architect to the Stars", having designed magnificent mansion estates for the Hollywood Glitterati.
Eleven years after Fickett’s passing in 1999 at age 83, responding to the passionate work of Joycie Fickett, the Historic Preservation Commission designated the Hollywood Riviera as a historical landmark, thereby protecting the building and his legacy indefinitely.
